Embree absolutely loves to play dress-up! She put on her pumpkin costume to show Uncle Poop, Aunt Val, Ms. Kim, A and Tony this morning, and didn't want to take it off! She wore it all day with a short afternoon break. We did go trick-or-treating, but this child doesn't love candy like normal kids! We eventually bribed her with animals, which totally backfired by the way. As you can see from the pics, our little pumpkin fell in love with Brad and Kerri's cat, only to get her heart broken when it was time to knock on the next door. We made her promises of holding David and Stevie's dog, Izzy, so that we could move along. After she loved on Izzy, and snuggled in her dog bed, we didn't have it in us to keep trick-or-treating. Too sad;)
Side note: If anyone wants to be Em's new favorite relative, just get a cat! For your house. So we can VISIT it. Not for our house.

Wow, what a cutie! It looks like Embree had a nice time harassing all the animals. I love the first picture of her laying on the cat. The cat's like, "What the?"
ReplyDeleteI meant to comment on the haircut post and didn't have time yesterday... I seriously almost cried thinking about cutting my babies' hair for the first time. And now they are OLD! It's nice to live vicariously through my friends with little ones. :)
p.s. Uncle Poop?
It's Uncle Cooper, but just this weekend she started calling him Poop! He actually believes it is an upgrade to Baa, which is what she used to call him:)
