CHRISTMAS

Happy birthday, Jesus!!! I love this time of year! I love the smells, the family and friend gatherings, the food, the awesome gift-giving feelings and the memories. We had a wonderful Christmas – or should I say, Christmases!? We celebrated Jesus’ birthday over several days and thoroughly enjoyed all of them! Embree had lots of “first Christmas”es. I don’t have pictures from all the relatives yet, so hopefully I will be adding to this album.

We made a pact not to get too crazy with Em’s presents, and I think we were successful. She needed pj’s, so we wrapped them up, then let her open them - even though she was going to get pajamas anyway. We did splurge on a bicycle, though, and it really is worth it. A few nights ago, when nothing else was pleasing the princess, Daddy took her on a bicycle ride through the house for 20 minutes, and she was all smiles! She sometimes cries when you stop, though.

Of course, Em racked in the gifts at her grandparents’ houses. Check out the new Barbie fishing pole from her Kiki and Poppy! She also loves her new walker and train set!
