Okay, so not really the farm... but with Em's new overalls (thanks Kiki!), the neighborly cow, donkey and rooster, a fancy red wagon that Poppy shined-up and a grassy hill complete with a barbed wire fence, it looked a lot like we were out on the farm as opposed to hanging out at Granny's old house this morning. I took 300 photos this morning, people!!! I have a problem. Possibly an addiction. The trouble is that I'm not a very good photographer, but I truly want to be. Therefore, I end up taking a gazillion pictures in hopes of finding one really great picture. This begins a vicious cycle because I always think I will just take a bunch of pics and delete the ones that aren't very good. Well, crab! I'm in love with my daughter, and every single face she makes seems so important to capture and keep forever. I even save the pictures of the back of her head because I think it's too sweet. Hoping to spare you all, I've only posted pictures today that I believe capture "a moment". I loved watching Kiki chase the rooster, while dragging Em in her wagon, all over the yard trying to give Miss Priss a closer look (since she is such a fan of our feathered friends). Grandparents will do ANYTHING for their grandbabies!! Poppy watched his little girl walk REALLY FAR, uphill, so she could pet the donkey. She is now a professional walker - and what do you know? - she actually CAN walk in her shoes, contrary to what she'd been telling me. Before we headed home, Em had "dinner and a show". "Dinner and a show" is how Embree eats. She believes that everyone sits at the dinner table simply to watch her perform. She pulls out ALL the tricks (raise the roof, SO big, you can't see me, patticake... you get the idea - she's very talented). Today was different only in where she ate - which of course was in her new wagon - duh!
