I was thinking today that I haven't blogged about Xmas, and I can't believe it! I pondered this awhile and realized that I haven't been very honest in this blog. Our lives are not all rainbows and unicorns over here. Apparently, I only like to blog when things are happy and bright, yet I skip over days, weeks or months that are hectic or stressful.
That's how things had been during the holidays, as I'm sure most everyone can relate. Right before Christmas, I had to mourn the loss of my hard drive (it crashed, and... I hadn't backed it up in over a year. It makes me sick to my stomach to talk about it. I'm an idiot.). Around this time, J.Brandon tore his calf muscle playing basketball. He hobbled around and was sadly not entertaining enough for an incredibly active toddler. Then, Christmas hit (which is always beautiful and wonderful, but also expensive and hectic). Somewhere in here, Embree had a cold (sick babies break my heart) that led to an annoying ear infection. Not fully recovered from the holidays, we celebrated our baby girl becoming a two year old. Pure and simple, I am not ready for Embree to be 2 years old. At all. After all of this, we got our credit card statements in. 'Nuff said.
So, please excuse the gaps in time, skipped milestones and pictures that I haven't posted. I'm working on it:)
