Kids say the darnedest things!

Last week, I took Em to the doctor. He was feeling her lymph nodes on her neck when she very nonchalantly mentioned, "Sometimes my mommy and daddy choke me". Oh my gosh! I didn't know what to do! I have never even SAID I would choke her! I turned 3 shades of red before asking, "when?!?!". I didn't know if adamant denial would make me look guilty, so I just tried to laugh it off. I can't believe she said that!! I got in the car to go home later and thought what happened at the doctor's was hilarious... But I'm also a little nervous that cps is going to show up at my door:(
