Oh no! A tornado hit Embree’s room – or at least the diaper changing area! This child LOVES to play with her diapers! She takes them off her changing table shelf and tosses them on the ground. Lately, she’s changed it up a bit and started putting the diapers on her head like a hat. If we’d known that diapers were that awesome to play with and put on heads, we could have saved some money on toys and hats!
We always let Em hang out in her bedroom before naps and bedtime so that she can “wind down”. The joke is on us, though, because she almost always uses that time to tear apart her room. Sometimes, she actually sings while throwing her books off of her closet shelf (we pretend that she is singing Andy Samberg’s “Throw It On The Ground”). I guess being destructive is tons of fun! I just never thought that my obsessive-compulsive self would actually enjoy watching someone make a mess – especially when I am the one who has to pick it up. Funny how things change.
