Okay, Okay... So she only took two steps... and hasn't done it since, but SHE WALKED!!! I think the story is a little embarrassing? But I'll tell it anyway. Yesterday afternoon, I was on the phone with Yvette and following Embree around the house. I watched her pull up on her stroller that is usually parked in the dining room (you know - the room that most everyone has and no one ever really uses?). Maverick slowly came into the dining room to look out the front window. Embree is in love with Maverick - so much that she then used her first two steps in the world to walk to him! Yes, my feelings are hurt. Why does the dog get so much love?! So there you have it. My daughter took her first steps yesterday for Maverick, our obese labrador.
Of course, I have no video or photos of this incident. Instead, I am posting a video of Embree doing her ab workout in the living room only hours before the big two step. The video is coming soon, but first I have to charge my camera batteries and upload the footage. Stay tuned...
